Woman-owned and deeply rooted in purpose, Gynsyng opened its doors on March 1, 2024, with a mission centered around curiosity, comfort, and community. Its rustic, open-concept interior sets the tone for an experience that is both approachable and intentionally designed for education and self-exploration.
The dispensary’s story is as meaningful as its mission. Founder Jana Murzenski was raised in East Germany, where holistic care options were scarce. Later inspired by a friend’s son who found seizure relief through cannabis, she saw the potential for a space where healing, education, and plant medicine could come together. That vision came to life at Gynsyng, a place where the team believes “there is power, or even magic, in this plant” and where every customer is empowered to discover how cannabis can uniquely support their well-being.
Rather than relying on flashy displays or overstuffed shelves, Gynsyng focuses on thoughtful curation. From premium flower and edibles to vapes, concentrates, and carefully selected accessories, every product on the menu is chosen with intention. The team prioritizes variety without overwhelming their guests and works closely with vendors to stay ahead of price shifts and new product launches. “We aim to offer something for everyone, while keeping the shopping experience simple and accessible,” says the Gynsyng team.
Now, Gynsyng is preparing to make history again: during its July 15 public meeting, the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ-CRC) approved Gynsyng for a consumption area endorsement, making it one of the first dispensaries in the state granted permission to open a licensed on-site cannabis consumption lounge. This milestone reflects Gynsyng’s ongoing leadership in offering safe, inclusive, and innovative experiences for both recreational consumers and medicinal patients, ages 21 and older
