The spirit of 420 was alive and well in Colorado despite the chilly and snowy weather we faced. The day began with a sense of gloom, and there was a general expectation that the weather would dampen the 420 celebrations. However, this was not the case! Dispensaries such as High West, Reefer Madness, and Outcrop were all bustling early in the day with happy customers eager to take advantage of dispensary deals and prepare themselves for a day of cannabis celebration across the Mile High City!
This year, we continued to see many tourists visiting Denver to celebrate 4/20, despite marijuana being legalized in other states at this point. The city was alive with vibrant energy from locals and tourists alike, which had not been seen on 4/20 in several years. There were numerous 420 events to enjoy, such as Gucci Mane and Afro Man’s incredible performance at Civic Center Park, while Wiz Khalifa and Flatbush Zombie kept the Red Rocks Amphitheater audience high all night long with their music and smoking prowess.
Regardless of the snowy weather, the city was buzzing with excitement as people celebrated cannabis culture. The aroma of cannabis could be smelled throughout all corners of the city, and the atmosphere was filled with positive vibes and love. All in all, it was an unforgettable day of celebration that will be remembered for years to come.
