Marijuana Legalization Ballot

FL Amendment 3 – Adult Personal Use of Marijuana – is on the Florida ballot in November. A “YES” vote supports legalizing marijuana for adults 21 years old and older and allowing individuals to possess up to three ounces of marijuana. Let’s vote for safety, freedom and adult use!

FAQ : Will I need a MMJ card if Amendment 3 passes?

If Amendment 3 passes, rules and regulations will need to be established for the adult use marijuana program. The medical marijuana program will remain unchanged, despite misinformation and threats from a GOP-led legislature. When we look at other states’ established medical and adult-use marijuana programs, we can see many benefits to retaining an MMJ card after the passage of adult-use. These may include:
  1. Cost Savings – Patients pay less in taxes for their cannabis purchases than recreational users.
  2. Access to Higher Potency Products – Patients have access to products with higher THC content and more potent medical-grade cannabis.
  3. Priority Access – Patients get priority in product availability, ensuring they receive their necessary medication.
  4. Larger Possession Limits – Patients are generally allowed to possess larger amounts of cannabis than recreational users.
  5. Legal Protections – Patients may enjoy additional legal protections related to employment, housing and other areas.
